Christmas in July is certainly in full swing in the Southern Highlands, so why not get into the spirit? Here’s my round up of the best places to celebrate!

This historic hotel is serving up festive feasts every Friday and Saturday night. For $69 per adult and $35 per children under 15, you receive an a la carte dinner and Christmas-specific live entertainment (does not include alcohol).

Meals include roast butternut pumpkin soup, roasted turkey, ham and chicken. They’re served with side of roasted local vegetables, lashings of house-made gravy and cranberry sauce. The classic Christmas pudding with local cherry gelato and port and mulled wine will unquestionably delight your dessert palate.

Santa will also be there and giving out lucky door prizes each night.

Afterwards, cosy up next to one of the Hotel’s five enormous fireplaces or choose to book a room for the night.

Katers Restaurant

This long celebrated local eatery is hosting its mid-year Christmas on July 21. Guests will feast on a particularly sumptuous three-course lunch menu, featuring the region’s freshest produce.

Southern Highlands Winery

This gorgeous winery on the cusp of Moss Vale and Sutton Forest boasts breathtaking views. It also serves up some of our best cold climate wines and consistently creates the most delicious dishes.

Saturday July 6 marks the Christmas in July dinner celebrations, where guests will feast on a five-course traditional Italian Christmas menu. It includes an aperitif of either a Bellini of Aperol Spritz and afterwards, limoncello.

Taphouse Southern Highlands Brewery

Celebrate the season every Sunday lunchtime throughout July at this elegant beer room and restaurant.

For just $32 (not including alcohol) enjoy a meal of Roast Chicken served with roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables, topped with fresh herbs and drizzled in rich gravy.

You can also choose room a Roast Beef option with roast potatoes, seasonal veggies, Yorkshire pudding and gravy.

And of course, you can team your meal with one of the nine-plus locally brewed beers on offer.

Mosaic Wine Bar Moss Vale

Wine Mosaic On Saturday July 13 July throughout the afternoon and into the evening, this stylish wine bar will be celebrating Christmas in July with a special menu focusing on Christmas fare, including roast turkey and trimmings, plus your selection of local and international wines.

Bistro Sociale

Head here for a yummy Christmas lunch on Sunday July 28. With roaring open fires and a festive feel all year round, it perfectly sets the scene. A two-course menu with warm apple crumble will set you back just $60 per head while a three-course menu is $70 per person.

Glass Café

On Friday 6thJuly, this lovely local establishment is offering a Christmas dinner feast for just $60 per person, which includes a cocktail on arrival and live entertainment by Jazz Daquiri.

Eschalot Restaurant

On Friday 26thJuly, Berrima restaurant Eschalot is offering a five-course platter share dinner menu for $80 per person and $140 per person with matching wines.
