Christmas in July at The Robertson Hotel!
Christmas in July gets into full swing at The Robertson every Friday and Saturday of the month, starting this weekend!
Book in for either lunch ($49 per person for 10 people or more only) or dinner ($69 per person), which include a selection of Christmas classics like Mulled Wine, Roast Butternut Pumpkin Soup, Roast Turkey and Honey Glazed Ham, Roasted Seasonal Vegetables, Cauliflower Gratin and of course, Cranberry Sauce.
Dessert is either traditional Christmas Pudding or Eton Mess, and kids can enjoy ice cream with chocolate topping and sprinkles. Bookings are essential (call 02 4885 1111) and there is even a fun visit from a special guest who usually resides at the North Pole! That’s right, Santa himself will be dropping by to draw a Lucky Door prize each night!
Link House Festive Feast!
Over in Bowral, Links House will be getting festive six nights a week, from Monday through to Saturday. Celebrations kick off at 6 p..m each night with a glass of mulled wine in front of a roaring open fire.
Dinner begins with Potato, Parsnip and Chestnut Soup, and moves into main course of Turkey Ballotine with Steamed Greens, Roast Potatoes, Heirloom Carrots and Pistachio Apricot Stuffing and Gravy. Dessert is traditional Christmas Pudding with Brandy Anglaise and of course, vegetarians and other dietary options are available on request when you book. $75 per person. Call 02 4861 1977.
Seafood Specials At Bendooley Estate
Christmas in July spells Seafood Month over at Bendooley Estate in Berrima. The series of dinners will begin on Friday July 3 and will actually run throughout winter, beginning at 6pm nightly.
For $65 per person (not including drinks), you will feast on Mussell and Saffron Soup, Kingfish, Fennel Cream, Smoked Eel and Grapes, Cured Salmon Pastrami, Vanilla and Pink Peppercorns and Wood-Roasted Prawns with Cauliflower, Cicada and Shellfish Oil. There’s also Seared Yellowfin Tuna, Roasted Peppers, Smoked Olives and Quail Eggs and Tempura Flathead Tails, Potato Tartare and Lemon. For dessert, you’ll love Dark Ganache with Mandarin Granita, Soft Meringue and Pistachios. Call 02 4862 8788.
On Sunday 12th and Sunday 26th July, 2020, Milton park will come alive with Christmas Spirit. Lunch will be offered in the Orangerie Restaurant from 12:00pm – 1:30pm. The price is $145.00 per person, which includes a glass of mulled wine and five course menu with all the traditional trimmings. Call 02 4861 8100.
