Peppergreen Estate Cellar Door is tucked away in an historic 20th Century sandstone cottage in Berrima. It’s a shining gem in the Southern Highlands food and wine scene’s crown.
The striking building was actually once the home of Peppergreen Antiques. When current owners Hank and Katrina took over, they honoured the heritage by keeping its name. They also named their line-up of exceptional cold climate wines and extra virgin olive oil after it.

There’s a full house almost every opening hour, with customers enjoying tastings and a stunning meal. You can do it all in one spot – making great use of the giant roaring open fire in the cooler months.
We’re Here For The Wine
Expect an array of stunning wines, that reflect the cool climate growth and processing that the Southern Highlands is well known for. The collection features a mix of red, white, sparkling and dessert wine.
Meals To Savour
As for the food, expect only the very best. Renowned Highlands’ chef Mark Chance has curated an exciting French inspired, modern Australian menu, geared towards relaxed dining.
The menu rotates seasonally, featuring the very best local produce. You’ll crave the breakfasts, especially the Sparkling Breakfast Experience, which features a glass or two of bubbles! You can also opt to linger over lunch or delight in a hearty dinner.
Or, if you prefer a lighter food experience and want to taste a vast selection of the wines, try a tasting experience with a cheese platter or tasting plate!
